What time does the rental start/stop?

Res-Les Farms only books one event per weekend allowing our guests access to the facilities to make it their own.  The facility and grounds will be available to you from noon on Friday, to decorate to your heart's content, through noon on Sunday for any last minute clean-up. 

 

What is included in the rental?

Res-Les Farms has over two acres of space for your exclusive use, including a private drive and off-road parking. The rental includes access to and use of the Corn Crib, Grain Barn, Garden Area and Tent space.  Additionally, as part of your rental you will have access to over 100 items included in our vintage wedding decor collection. Furthermore, we will provide a projector with screen, 50 inch flat screen TV mounted for slideshows and fire pit with wood upon request. Tables and chairs are included in the rental as well.  We have a selection of both round tables, rectangular tables and tall cocktail tables.

 

 

Is there space for the bridal parties to get ready?

Res-Les Farms offers a bridal suite for the bride and her party, as well as a place for the gents to hang out and get ready.  The bridal suite is a private lounge area that has it's own entrance to the ladies restroom.  The area boasts a five-bay beauty salon perfect for prepping the ladies.  But we haven't forgotten about the guys.  The groom and his party have access to their own separate space with a private bathroom and lounge area with refrigerator and entertainment area equipped with a pool table, dart board, arcades and a flat screen TV.

 

Can food be prepared onsite?

To serve your guests, an indoor food prep area is available to your caterer equipped with sink, refrigerator and freezer. There is no stove or microwave.  Food must be prepared off-site unless the caterer has a self-sufficient food truck or is using a barbecue/roaster.

 

How many guests can you accommodate?

Res-Les Farms has many options for your wedding and making the space your own for your special day is a unique offering we provide. The Grain Barn can accommodate 200 guests with round tables. The Corn Crib can accommodate 100 guests with round tables.

Is alcohol permitted?

Res-Les Farms allows you to bring your own alcohol for your event, however we do not have a liquor license and we require all alcohol brought in be controlled and served by a certified bartender. We also require a 24 hour insurance policy for those serving alcohol. Res-Les Farms does not sell or will not allow the sale of alcohol on its property. We also ask that if you do serve alcohol that your guests behave respectfully. Res-Les Farms reserves the right to control all activities on its property.

 

Are there accommodations close by?

Res-Les Farms is located only 10 minutes south from over 12 hotels in the Battle Creek area. They are all conveniently located near dining and shopping locations which makes it easy for your out of town guests. There is also a five star Casino Hotel 20 minutes from our location.
